Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Canada Day Garden Party

Canada Day Garden Party at the Chester Train Station (20 Smith Road) from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome to set up a booth or table to raise money for their group.  There will be ice cream, fish & chip fry booth, frozen freezie group, pick a prize egg group, golf chipping game, bean bag toss, sucker pull and, whipped topping in the face throw with Danielle Barkhouse (we still need two people to agree to do it as Danielle can only join us for an hour).  For more info call 902-275-3826 or email: canauss@gmail.com
