Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Canada Day Breakfast & Music

Canada Day Breakfast & Music at the Hubbards Area Lions Club (43 Lion’s Club Road, Fox Point) from 8:00 to 11:00 am with lots of goodies on the menu to pick from such as eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bologna, hash browns, pancakes, homemade biscuits, homemade baked beans, juice, tea and coffee. Cost is a donation at the door.  Then from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, we have a band playing. The Cruisers will perform rock and roll oldies. Admission is a donation at the door. Canteen and bar will be available.
