The Basics

The Basics with Lynda Shalagan at the Chester Art Centre (60 Queen Street) from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  The workshop will include basic drawing techniques with the grid, studies in value to create volume and depth, colour theory and mixing.  Successful composition and the use of a view finder will be considered.  Mediums will include pencil, charcoal, coloured pencil and/or watercolour.  Still life subject matter, gouache for value studies, and photos will be supplied.  Cost $175.  Register online at:  chesterartcentre.ca or call us 902-275-5789 or email:  info@chesterartcentre.ca
