Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

ATTENTION ALL CRAFTERS:  Come on out to the East Chester Recreation Hall for an afternoon of crafters getting together to enjoy a time crafting and conversation. This will start on Thursday, March 2 at 1:00 to 3:30 pmish and continue every Thursday.  There will be a drop-in fee of $2.00 which will be given to the ECRA towards heat and lights.  So, grab your knitting, crocheting or craft of choice and come on down.  Looking forward to seeing you at the Hall.  For more info, contact Vicki at eastchesterrec.secretary@gmail.com.
