Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Aspotogan Arts & Crafts Open Studio at Ocean Swells Community Centre, Northwest Cove from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Newcomers are very welcome to attend. Bring anything that you are working on – art, quiet writing, hand and needle work. A $4 drop-in fee is asked of non-members.
