Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Annual Roy Harnish Crib Tournament at the Hubbards Area Lions Club.  Doors and canteen open at 5:30 pm. Crib starts 7:00 pm. Admission $10. The canteen will be serving burgers, fries, hot dogs and snacks. Cash bar and 50/50 available.
