Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Annual Roy Harnish Crib Tournament at the Hubbards Area Lions Club (21 Lions Club Road, Fox Point). Cost $10. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Crib starts at 7:00 pm. Canteen, 50/50 and cash bar available.
