Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

9th Annual Dinner Theatre "A Little Seduction" at the Forties Community Centre to support the New Ross Fire Department. Featuring the Accidental Actors.  Doors open 5:30 pm, Social 6:00 pm and Show starts 6:30 pm.  If you enjoy laughter, music and great food, this is for you.  Menu consists of an appetizer, a chicken leg dinner with all the fixins`, dessert, tea and coffee.  Limited amount of tickets will be sold.  Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the New Ross Credit Union and New Ross Home Hardware for those 19 years and older.
