About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

4th Annual Craft & Bake Show at the Western Shore & Area Improvement Association (6485 Hwy 3) from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. Come out for the craft show event of the season! All crafts & no two vendors with the same style. Door prizes and FREE Admission. Do your Christmas shopping & baking all in one day. Amazing selection and fantastic prices.
