Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

45’s Card Games every Thursday at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford in the Multi-Purpose room starting 7:30 pm. Anyone who enjoys the game is invited to come and play. If you have never played this card game, you have to try it! Prizes are given out each week as well as an opportunity to participate in a 50/50 draw.
