About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

45’s Card Games at Ocean Swells Community Centre starting at 7:00 pm. Cost $10 per person. 1^st Prize Lobsters, 2^nd Prize Lobsters, 3^rd Prize Lobsters and 4^th Prize Lobsters. Proceeds for rental of propane tanks. For more info, call Lawson at 902-228-2146.
