About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

18th Annual Roy Harnish Memorial Cribbage Tournament at the Hubbards Area Lions Club. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Tournament begins at 7:00 pm. Come with a partner - $10 per person. Refreshments and Bar service. Bragging Rights, Cash Prizes, 50/50 & Door Prizes. Proceeds support the Lions Club. For more info call 902-717-0163.
