Rural Roots Market (located at Ross Farm Museum in New Ross) offers FREE workshops throughout the season from June to September on Sundays 10am – 2pm  For details on upcoming sessions visit their website ruralrootsmarket.ca

Station 20 Craft Shop and Museum (located at the Old Train Station in Chester) holds a FREE Craft Circle every Monday afternoon from 1pm-3pm and on Tuesdays they host a Craft Demonstration from 1pm - 3pm. For more info click here

Summer Bandstand Concert Series takes place in the Village of Chester Sunday evenings at 7pm with the 2018 season set to run from June 24 to August 26! The sound of music will once again drift across the Chester waterfront as the bandstand comes alive with the sound of music. Children are welcome to dance on the grass. Adults may want to bring a lawn chair. For more information click here

Picnic in the Park at Lordly Park in Chester runs every Tuesday evening in the summer, from 6pm - 8pm with live music for dancing and picnic dining. For more event information on the line up for this season visit their facebook page here

Lido Pool - a saltwater pool located right on the edge of Chester's back harbour. It's the perfect pool for all ages with such a pretty backdrop. Public Swimming Monday – Friday 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and on Saturday & Sunday 12:00 noon – 8:00 pm. For more info click here
